I have to admit, I was nervous about Louie and Ethan in the beginning of things. I didn't know how new baby and dog would do together. I wasn't sure if Louie would take the lack of attention that well. And I wasn't sure if Ethan would get along with Louie, and vice versa. Luckily, they seem to be adjusting very well to each other.
In fact, I think Louie's fondness for Ethan is growing. Now that Ethan is eating real food, he always leaves some on the floor for Louie. Louie is loving it. So much so, that when Ethan is asleep, Louie seems to want to wait until the next time he sees Ethan (eating).
