a great birthday indeed

It was a great birthday for number 30!  It was also great weather wise, so we got the little man outside for some fun in the sun.  He had a great time walking all over the yard.  He is getting used to the texture of walking in the grass.

Then it was time for one of my favorite things - taking a walk!!

And right as Ethan was getting a little stir crazy half way into our walk, there was a park!  So, we took a detour to play.  He had his eyes on the yellow lion ... he walked all the way over to it.  Then, all he wanted to do was lick it.  So we had to move away from the lion.

After the lion, it was time for the swings!  Here's Grandma pushing Ethan on the swings.

The swinging motion started making for a very tired baby.  We thought he was going to fall asleep sitting in the swing.  Here is his very relaxed pose.

Grandad also made it over to say hello while we were at the park!!  Ethan had a great time.  And so did I.  It was a wonderful way to end my day of welcoming my thirties.
