how we know Ethan is awake

I think it's so fun to listen to Ethan waking up on the baby monitor for a few minutes before we go upstairs to get him up.  Usually he is standing in his crib, but sometimes he's laying on his back just chatting away.  We have gone to get him at the first sign of him being awake, and he is grumpy.  I think this chit chat is a nice way for him to wake up to fully alert!
