when happy turns sad

All was good when this video started - being tickled on the couch after reading a book.  Fun times!  Then Ethan spotted the video camera, that on top of being tired - his happy face turned into a frown.  It's funny how toddlers can go from super happy one second to very upset the next second!  This is also why it's so hard to take videos of Ethan as of late.  As soon as he hears the video camera turn on, he turns into a hawk ready to scope his prey.  And, once he sees the camera, he throws a tantrum if he can't get it.  Therefore, it's just much easier to avoid taking videos of him so that we keep the peace in this house.  And I have tried many ways to take a video without making him upset: turning it on in another room so he doesn't hear anything and sneaking up on him from afar with the camera, but he has an internal radar for electronics so my under cover methods aren't working.  I hope this is a phase that is grown out of soon!
