Trim and an Ear Infection

Trim in the bathroom!

And, green paint in the shower?  Yuck!  But, it's just a water-proofing barrier paint.

Still on the to-do list, frosting the glass on these windows!  I wonder how long that bird's nest has been there?  The windows don't open - so we can't move it!

Monday is supposed to be tile day, but I think I have said that every day for a week.  Maybe we will actually get tile on Monday?  I hope so.

Corey turns 30 (GASP) tomorrow!  We were planning a dinner out last night (we even had a babysitter - one we have to pay!).  But, Ethan was sent home from daycare with a fever.  We figured it was another ear infection since he was all stuffy as well.  And we were right!  But, the doctor thinks his ear drum ruptured on it's own probably the night before.  YIKES.  The absolutely crazy part of all of this, we didn't even know he had an ear infection.  He is just such a happy little guy.  He gets fussy, and does wake up at night when he doesn't feel well, but there was never an indication that he was in so much pain that his ear drum would rupture.  Oh boy.  So, we have some ear drops, and we may head back to the doctor on Monday to check his ears again.  The next thing is probably an ENT for some tubes.  If that helps with his pain it would be worth it.

On the way home from the doctor Ethan fell asleep (6PM).  We left him in the car seat in his room for an hour, before moving him to his bed (and in doing so we thought that he might wake up to eat and get his PJs on).  He went right back to sleep - until midnight.  Then, he had a bottle, we changed him and put his PJs on, and he was down again - until 7:30AM.  OMG he's never slept that long, ever!  He needed it apparently.  It's so hard to know that he doesn't feel well.
