We had a great day here. Started early with a walk (highs were over 100 today - so all outdoor activities took place in the morning). I bought a double jogging stroller at a garage sale for 50$. The best word for it is "janky" -- it's shocks are old so it's a bumpy ride and I am pretty sure the back axle isn't straight. But, Ethan and Morgan did really well together. Morgan kept putting her feet on Ethan it was adorable. Ethan was reading the letters on the front of the stroller to Morgan.
After our walk, we went to Lowes and Panera. Ethan spilled his milk EVERYWHERE at Panera -- to the point of having to take his shirt off because it was so wet. A shirtless toddler in a restaurant. And Morgan didn't have any shoes or socks on. We were a living example of "no shoes, no shirt, no service". We just kept our head down, fed Ethan his grilled cheese, and got out of there as soon as possible!!
The afternoon included naps, lots of indoor play time, and a trip for ice cream!
Corey and I caught some fireworks from our neighborhood last night -- we ran into the lawn to watch them (they were set off probably 700 yards from our house). So, we have no plans to watch any fireworks tonight (except the ones currently on TV). We just hope that the noise from the festivities don't wake the babes or cause Louie too freak out too much.
