Overview of Savannah

Sadly, when we go to Georgia it means that Louie goes to camp (aka the kennel) for a few days. He smiled for the camera before leaving.

And then got his bone as a special treat!

On the way to camp.

Then a change of plans … when checking in for our Christmas Eve flight I saw that Indy was under a travel advisory because of the rain that was coming in. I called the airline, they said they could rebook us for a 5PM flight on the 23rd. (vs. 7AM the next morning). After a few logistical changes, we went for it! And we made it to Savannah by 10PM on the Eve of Christmas Eve. Here is Corey en route after getting mad that the luggage wouldn’t fit in the overhead very well.

We were happy that Christmas Eve morning didn’t start at 4AM to make a 7AM flight!

Once up on Christmas Eve morning, the guys went golfing and the girls went walking around Savannah Quarters (and into some houses that are being built). After a pit stop in the pro shop we made it home – almost 3 miles of walking! Some sights along the way.

Then we took a more leisurely look around the neighborhood via golf cart.

Temperature on Christmas Eve was about 65 degrees – a little breezy but a great day (we got really hot on our walk and a bit chilly on the gold cart ride). There were a handful of other golfers out during the day.

Christmas Eve pictures by the tree.

And Christmas day photos.

Opening presents.

The guys went golfing again while the girls walked.

And turkey!

A great time in Savannah!
