shared bath time!

While out for a little post dinner stroll one night, Corey and I discussed how both kids needed a bath.  Why not try the bath together?  OK - great idea.  Or - was it?!

We got everyone ready -- Morgan in her duck and Ethan in the big tub.  Nobody seemed to know anything was different.

Love that lip action, Morgan!  Teething baby.

Well that was the last of the happy faces.  As the water in the tub filled up, the duck started to float.  This created a few problems.  First, it made it very hard to get Morgan clean because she was moving all over the place (and let's discuss the fact that with 1 PhD and 1 Masters degree - the parents didn't think about the duck floating - whoa!).  It also meant that the duck was moving in Ethan's direction.  He got pretty territorial and started to ambush the duck.  Enter problem number 2 - Morgan was getting hit with toys and water.  Abort mission!!  As soon as Morgan was clean we got out of there.  Ethan was left to play for a bit in the tub (without the duck!). 

We shall try again - when Morgan is big enough to be in the tub with Ethan.  The first shared bath time was one to remember, though!
