We drove up on Thursday and met Nick and Nicole for a day of walking the city and dinner. It was great seeing them - we spent time with them in Italy so we reminisced some about our trip.
On Friday we did some sightseeing and some Black Friday shopping. Here we are at the "bean".
And that night on top of the Hancock Building looking over the lights of the city. It was a beautiful sight to see Michigan Avenue all lit up.
We are all happy to be home (including Louie). Travelling is getting harder for me (aches and pains of different beds and a lot of activity made me a tired momma). But it was a great trip!
On our way home we passed a giant wind farm in northern Indiana. Kinda scary honestly - these things are huge!!
